2004
Scholarship Award
John Gilligan (l) and Steve Korf (r) flank our scholarship winner.
The 2004 scholarship was awarded to Michael Ladd at the December Meeting. Mike is a Master of Sciences degree candidate at the University of New Haven, maintaining an exceptional 3.99 grade point average. His MS degree in National Security
will be granted by UNH's School of Public Safety and Professional Studies with an emphasis on Information Protection.Mike was tremendously appreciative of the $3000 award and told the meeting attendees of his realistic career goals. He told the meeting that until he applied for the scholarship he ahdn't been aware of ASIS International and in looking into the organization knows he has found a very useful resource. He said that he'll make every effort to tell his peers about it and to inculde information about the organization in presentations he makes on undergrad groups.
